5K Run/Walk for Leukemia

Proceeds of the event will benefit a local recipient who suffers from leukemia. The recipient
will be announced on race day. Start and finish lines located at Wheeling's Heritage Port.
Start time is 7:00 pm. The course is USATF Certified #WV-03027-RT. The first 750 registered participants
will recieve a race shirt, additional T-shirt and long sleeve shirt. Music
every mile provided by Wild Horse Entertainment and Freebird DJ Services.
Post-race shower facilities available at CentreTown Fitness. This race is part of the Washington
County RRC Grand Prix. There will be three first aid stations throughout the course. Register ASAP and
have your name included in the intelligencer/News-Register Race Day newspaper supplement. You will
receive a complimentary edition race day. Race #911, 1, 64, 65, 66, and 67 are officially retired.
5K FEES, REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
5K fees are $18 until July 31st, 2008 and $22 after July 31st, 2008. Packet pickup is Friday, August 1st from
4-6 pm and on race day 3-6 pm SHARP! You may register online through noon Thursday, July 31st at
www.debbiegreen5k.com.
Please, no bikes, skates or pets, etc. permitted on race course. No turkeys, please! For more race information,

Championchip Timing  |
| This year's race will be timed by the The Runner's High using the championchip system. On race day, runners and walkers will be issued a rental computer chip, which is attached to the shoelace and worn throughout the race. Special mats at the finish line will record a finished time for each chip. Make sure you get the right chip assigned to you. All chips MUST be returned at the finish line or the participant will be assessed a non-refundable, unreturnable chip replacement fee of $35 . |
