The awards for the Green Mile are Top 1 Male and Top 1 Female
runners and walkers in 14 age groups.

The Green Mile Run/Walk
|
One mile race with pasta, awards, door prizes & music.
Take part in this one mile run/walk on Friday, August 1st. Race starts at 7:00 pm at
Wheeling's Heritage Port. Shirts are guaranteed to the first 250 registered participants
and pasta, salad and fruit to be provided by Ambience. Refreshments provided
and Wild Horse will provide entertainment. Championchip timing by The Runner's
High. Entry fee is $10.00 prior to the day of the race and $13.00 race
day. Registration and packet pickup is 4:30-6:30 pm SHARP! Post-race shower facilities
available at CentreTown Fitness. Door prizes include running and walking shoes from Hole 'N Run.

Championchip Timing
|
| This year's race will be timed by the The Runner's High using the championchip system. On race day, runners and walkers will be issued a rental computer chip, which is attached to the shoelace and worn throughout the race. Special mats at the finish line will record a finished time for each chip. Make sure you get the right chip assigned to you. All chips MUST be returned at the finish line or the participant will be assessed a non-refundable, unreturnable chip replacement fee of $35 . |
