
Debbie Green was a 7 year old girl from Benwood, WV. She was like every other little girl... she loved going to school, cheerleading, and playing with her friends. Debbie was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed life to the fullest. In 1970, Debbie was diagnosed with leukemia. For two long years, she battled the disease with courage and determination. more >>The Barkcamp Race!continues to be a part of the Debbie Green Memorial in 2011. The race date is October 1, 2011. A portion of the proceeds go to benefit the Debbie Green Memorial. This event has just become part of the worldwide known XTERRA Trail Running Series for the 1/2 Marathon Trail Run and the 10K Trail Run. Both trail runs are State of Ohio RRCA Championships.
The Barkcamp Race also features a 5K road walk, a Smile trail challenge walk and a kid's mini steeplechase. All races will be chip timed.
